Grab & Go Meal Distribution TODAY We are offering a “Grab & Go” meal to ANY AUSD student TODAY (Friday, January 10, 2025) at two locations: William Northrup School (409 S. Atlantic Blvd. in Alhambra) & Ynez School (120 S. Ynez Ave. in Monterey Park) from 11:30am until 12:30pm, or until we run out of food. Parents can park in the school’s parking lot and walk to the distribution tables. (This is NOT a drive-through pick-up.) Parents will be asked to show their child’s ID or state their child’s student ID # or full name. (NOTE: We suggest you wear a mask and glasses/sunglasses to help protect you from dust/smoke when you venture outdoors.)
Community Questions: Board Meeting Staff Reports At the August 27th Board of Education meeting, there will be two staff reports presented: (1) Bullying and Disciplinary Practices Overview and (2) Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) Plan Update. We welcome questions from community members on either of these report topics. These questions will be used as we finalize the presentation and to guide discussion by the board members.
