If you haven't done so, this is a friendly reminder to read an email that was sent to all seniors on May 14th regarding final senior transcripts.   .
 
 
 
Check the Lost & Found in the SSS office one more time--they seem to have a lot of earpods!
 
Here is the final Moor Weekly news video of the year.
We also have a print issue out today! You can pick up a copy of the print newspaper in any office on campus or in the Library. Copies were also boxed to all staff members.

Prom Pictures are ready for pick up in Activities

    • Senior Field Day: 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (more details to follow.)

    • Graduation Rehearsal: 1:00 p.m. at the Auditorium

    • Cap/Gown Distribution: 2:00 p.m. outside the Auditorium

    • CSF Cord/Stole Distribution: 2:00 pm outside the Auditorium

    • Senior Sunset: 6:00 p.m. at 3rd Street Field

PTA is reaching out for your assistance in making the evening a success. We are requesting that you donate (1) 12 pack of coke or sprite soda and one box of individually wrapped chocolates.  Your donation will be appreciated and will be enjoyed by all seniors attending.
 
The donated items can be dropped off  Monday, May 13th  through Thursday, May 23rd at the Business and Activities Office in C-120.
 
We are also seeking monetary donations for prizes. If interested please send an email to [email protected] no later than May 17th.

Seniors with overdue books need to return them to clear for Grad Nite and Graduation.
Please return books to the Bookroom located in IT-6. 
If paying fines, please stop by the Bookroom for your textbook record. 
Take that to the Student Bank to pay for any lost books, and bring the receipt back to the Bookroom
Fees can only be paid by cash or money order

If you lost a sweater, water bottle, keys or any other item please stop by the lost and found area in the Student Support Services office in C122.  Items will be donated at the end of each semester.

Good Morning!
 
We have made it to the last week of sports for the 2023-2024 school year. This week in sports: 
 
Moor Field: 
Baseball finished their season last Friday, they will not have any more games this season. 
 
Big Gym/Small Gym: 
Badminton has individual CIF this Tuesday/Thursday away. They will still practice in the gym. 
 
AHS Tennis Courts: 
Boys tennis will continue practicing, we had one qualifier to CIF individuals. That tournament will be on 5/16.

Grad Nite 2024
 
Grad Nite ticket sales are over.

Alhambra High School would like to remind those seniors purchasing Grad Night 2024 tickets that your contract is 'fluid' - meaning that any egregious behavior (i.e., property damage, tardies, absences, truancies, inappropriate conduct, etc.) will contribute to the forfeiture of the ticket purchase.

College & Career Center News:

New College & Career Center Hours:  7:45am - 4:15pm


 

College & Career Center will be closed 5/6-5/17 due to AP Testing. There will be no printing.  The College & Career Center Outpost (located between the B & C building) is open for Summer College Credit Class information & registration, college information, presentation sign up, scholarships & work permit processing during lunch and after school.  Appointments with Ms. Liu are also available.


 
Northrup PTA is offering 3 $500 Scholarships if you attended Northrup School and are a graduating Senior, you qualify to apply!  Due May 11th.  For more info and to apply stop by the College & Career Center TODAY!

 

Summer Early College Program (ECP) Schedule is out.  Students will need to submit the Interest List by 5/6/24.  An email with registration steps will be sent out to students immediately.  All of the registration steps need to be completed by 5/12/24.  Space is limited.  https://tinyurl.com/ausd-cte-classes



Cal State LA Student Ambassador, Paddy Lin will be stationed at the College & Career Center/Library on Wednesdays from 8am to 11am & Friday 12:30-3:30pm.  If you would like to book Paddy to come speak to your class about Cal State LA or CSU system in general, you will be able to do that with this link.  Students will also be able to make an appointment with him using the same link.  



East Los Angeles College Rep Bianca Martinez will be stationed at the College and Career Center on Tuesdays 9am-1pm.  Rong Wang, Student Ambassador will be here on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8AM - 11:30AM. Please feel free to stop by if you have any questions regarding ELAC.
