On November 15, 23 parents and guardians descended upon Alhambra High School and strode through the campus with administrators, visiting a plethora of classrooms during the morning hours. They were able to witness instruction and collaboration with teachers and students as it happened. Each was thoroughly impressed by much of the interaction and demonstrations throughout their tour.
A resounding standing ovation to the entire cast and crew of the Alhambra High School Thespians with its fall presentation of the gripping story, "Flowers For Algernon." Ms. Rachel Snow and her entire ensemble did a superb job!!! We look forward to the spring musical. (The clue to the title of the spring musical became featured on the last page of the fall play playbill...)
The CDC and FDA have issued an E. Coli Contamination Warning on Romaine lettuces and related products. They recommend that people should not consume any romaine lettuce until more information is known about the source of the contamination and the status of the outbreak. In response to the warning, Food and Nutrition Services have decided to remove all Romaine Lettuces from our menus until the warning is lifted. If students and parents have any concerns, please contact Food and Nutrition Services.
