Starting next Monday, October 26th, Cash For College Week begins with financial aid seminars regarding FAFSA and the Dream Act! Monday's seminar will be in English; Tuesday in Spanish; and Wednesday in Cantonese, Mandarin and Vietnamese. On Thursday, the seminar will cover the Dream Act AB540. And on Friday between 9:00am and 4:00pm, parents can make a special appointment to meet with an advisor. Please RSVP the day before by 3:00pm, and a link will be emailed to you by 1:00pm the following day. Click on the headline to download the flyer.

Please note that, due to the K-12 pupil-free day on Friday, October 30th, there will be no meal service on that day. But an additional distribution day has been scheduled on Thursday, October 29th to make sure students students have meals for the weekend.

AHS will now be hosting Academic Tutoring after classes in the Dream Resource Center Zoom Room from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Tutoring subjects include English, Spanish, Mandarin, Science (except Physics), GFSF, and Integrated Math. The USDA has extended the waiver that will allow us to continue to provide free meals to ALL children. But parents should still apply for free or reduced meals NOW if their child is eligible. There are important benefits for both your child and our school district. Funding for Alhambra Unified School District is directly affected by how many students qualify for free or reduced-price school meals, so every student who qualifies provides the District with extra funding that is vital for school programs.
