A-G, GRADUATION & RESOURCES MEETING FOR ALL GRADE LEVELS HAS BEEN MOVED TO SEPTEMBER 19TH!

The AHS Counseling Team proudly presents its first meeting of it Parents Workshop Series of the new school year: The A-G, Graduation & Resources Meeting. In it, parents will learn about the new graduation requirements and the A thru G process required by the UC and Cal State College System. COLLEGE BOARD FEE WAIVER NOW AVAILABLE!

Students who are taking the SAT, PSAT or any AP Exam can fill out a College Board Fee Waiver to become eligible for reduced fees. Just click on the headline to access the form.

FRESHMEN PACK NOW ON SALE AT STUDENT BANK!

All incoming 9th graders can purchase the Freshman Pack at the Student Bank! Packs include tee-shirt, ASB Card, P.E. clothes, etc. Pack #1 is $134.00 and pack #2 is $64.00. If students purchase each item separately, it would cost $159.00.

Our Game Changer employee recognition program will continue in 2023-24!

IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING TRANSCRIPT ORDERING!

For seniors who wish to order high school transcripts, please submit your requests for final transcripts on the AHSMoors.org website (bottom, right hand side). Under “Special Instructions” please indicate if you would like the transcripts to be sent electronically, mailed (to colleges only) or picked up in person from the Counseling Office. You can submit one request for all your transcripts. Please remember only five requests per school year are free. Beyond that, there’s a charge ($2 per transcript + $4 service fee per request). All final transcript requests will be processed by July 1, 2023 and a confirmation email will be sent to you. As a reminder please use your personal email.

DISTRICT COLLEGE FAIR TO BE HELD ON SEPT. 25TH AT SGHS!

The Annual District College will be held on Wednesday, September 25th, at San Gabriel High School beginning at 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Students will be able to speak with a plethora of college recruiters from around the country.

CLASS OF 1974 REUNION!

The AHS Class of 1974 50th Reunion will be on September 15th, 2024 from 12:00-4:00pm at Almansor Park (700 S. Almansor St., Alhambra). We are also planning a 4 night cruise on Royal Caribbean out of Los Angeles on 9/16/24-9/20/24. We are also planning 7 night cruise Hawaiian Cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line on 9/7/24-9/14/24. New College & Career Center Hours: 7:45am - 4:15pm

Cal State LA Student Ambassador, Paddy Lin, will be stationed at the College & Career Center/Library on Mondays from 8am to 1pm. If you would like to book Paddy to come speak to your class about Cal State LA or CSU system in general, you will be able to do that with this link. Students will also be able to make an appointment with him using the same link.
