Please be aware that, effective Monday, April 5th, meals will be served from 12:00pm until 1:00pm (instead of 1:30). Our "bus stop" locations will also be reduced to just one location: San Gabriel & Garvey. (Look for the big AUSD truck instead of a school bus.)

Each year, students in grades three through eight, eleven and twelve participate in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). This year, your child will take the following test(s), depending on their grade level:
Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments for English language arts/literacy and mathematics in grades three through eight and grade eleven. The California Science Test (CAST) in grades five, eight, and twelve in high school (which may be waived this year). For the Spring Play, the AHS Thespians are proud to present a wonderful trip to the past with "Suspense Radio Theater." The virtual, audio presentation, harkens back to 1930s and '40s when radio was king and everyone gathered around their radio to listen to "Inner Sanctum," "Lights Out," and of course, "Suspense." 10 Week Progress Report Cards are now official. Please check out your child's grades and let the counselor and/or teacher(s) know how we can help if needed. Your child's progress can be seen on PowerSchool.

Congratulations to the AHS Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America for its spectacular performance at its annual sectionals competition. In a week-long competition with twelve other chapters, there were events in over forty different categories. The AHS chapter won over 50 awards, and went on to 3rd place sweepstakes this year!!! Congratulations to Alhambra High School for winning the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award! This honor recognizes the outstanding work engaging more female students in computer science. AHS has been able to expand young women's access to the AP Computer Science Principles Class.
