Congratulations to the AHS Decalthon Team for placing third in California!!! This is the first time - and the highest - that a school from the Alhambra Unified School District has placed this high!!! Congratulations to Mr. Jose Sanchez and the entire Acadec Decathlon Team! We are so proud of everyone!!!

All members of the AUSD family are welcome to attend the Swearing-In Ceremony for the 2024-2025 Student Board Member Keiko Rakin (AHS junior) and Student Board Member Alternate Madison Kang (MKHS senior). The ceremony will take place at the beginning of the August 27th Board Meeting (6:00pm). At that meeting, the 12 students of the Student Advisory Council will be formally introduced to the public. Afterwards, the Board will take brief recess for a celebratory reception in the their honor.

At the August 27th Board of Education meeting, there will be two staff reports presented: (1) Bullying and Disciplinary Practices Overview and (2) Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) Plan Update. We welcome questions from community members on either of these report topics. These questions will be used as we finalize the presentation and to guide discussion by the board members. In order to ensure children have access to nutritional meals when school is not in session, AUSD will continue to offer its annual free Summer Meal Program. FREE meals will be available to students participating in AUSD Summer School and Summer Extended Learning Programs at eight sites in the district. These eight sites will also offer community meal times for any child aged 18 years and younger. Children do NOT need to attend an AUSD school to receive these free meals.
