Save the Date: Cash For College

Cash For College will be coming to Alhambra High School on Dec. 8th beginning at 9:00am to 11:30am. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for parents, guardians and students to learn about the financial opportunities for college. Workshops and help with applications for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), California Dream Act Application (CADAA), and Chafee Grant for foster youth with highlight this important event. Be ready with your tax receipts, income statements, social security info, individual taxpayer identification number, alien registration number, bank statements, and driver's license (if you have one).

"Flowers for Algernon"

The Alhambra High School Thespians proudly present the Science Fiction themed story, "Flowers for Algernon." The story revolves around a mentally disabled man named Charlie Gordon, a floor sweeper at a local bakery, who becomes a test subject for a possible experiment. First published in 1958, "Flowers for Algernon" won the Hugo Award in 1960 for 'Best Short Story.'
