Finals are next week. Get ready!

Starting on Monday, December 8, it is Winter Spirit Week! Come dressed in your most festive winter clothes! On Monday, come to school with your best Christmas headwear. On Tuesday, wear scarves and flannels. On Wednesday, it's our pj day. On Thursday, mix and match with a red and white outfit. And on Friday, show off your ugliest sweater.

Thank you, PTA, for transforming our quad into a wonderful Winter Wonderland! From the huge ornaments, larger than life nutcrackers, booths will endless food, crafts and gifts, to all of the hard work done by many, it was a great time!

The annual Reindeer Games will commence next week for the AHS Staff! Get ready for a week of fun, games and food! On Monday, it's Disney Magic Monday! Come dressed as a Disney character, color or classic vibe! Come get some churros fresh from the oven in the MPR, 1st floor of A Building!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the VAPA Assembly this past Friday! It was a joyful time seeing all of the performances... from band, choir, dance solos, Thespians, orchestra, etc! It was also great to see all of the creative artwork made from our fellow students!

Congratulations to all the talented student woodworkers who represented AHS in the 13th Annual AUSD Woodworking Center. Patrick Oradan took first place and Ava Zeller won Honorable Mention. Congrats to all from AHS who participated including Ethan Deporto, Reily Encarnacion, Brinelly Franco, MD Hamza Khan, Rayhan Zeng, and Yuki Zhou !

Congrats to Coach Ryan and the Girls Golf Team for winning the Almont League for the first time in school history! We are so proud of you!

It was definitely a resounding success as the AHS Thespians presented its Fall Musical, "The Drowsy Chaperone," to captive audiences for the past two weeks! Thank you also to Ms. Snow and the Theater Boosters for all of their efforts!

Students who purchased senior portraits may pick them up in the Business & Activities office starting Wednesday, October 15, during lunch or after school only. Please have your I.D. ready on your phone when picking them up.
