Can you believe that the first ten weeks of school has already flowen by??? This week, October 12 - 16, it is regular schedule with Advisory periods on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - student choice. Then on Friday, there will be Minimum Day Schedule with school ending at 12:40 pm.

Friday, October 16th is the end of the first quarter! Get those assignments in as grades will be due!!!

The AHS CTE Workforce Development Department presents a seminar on filling out the "CSU Application" on Wednesday, October 20th, online viz Zoom. Learn how to support your child in filling out out the CSU application. Admission is free. Just click on the headline to register.

The AHS Korean Exchange Program deadline has been extended for one week! Spend Spring Break (March 26 - April 4, 2027) in South Korea with a host family, experience a different culture and learn so much! See Mr. Jayson Pineda for further details.

Seniors should have either purchased or rented their cap and gown already. The purchase price is $26.55 with 10.5% Tax. After March 30th, seniors may purchase a set online $33.15 (the late price). If you intend to PURCHASE a cap and gown, the cost will be $26.55 including tax. Students will receive the cap, gown and tassel to keep. Just click on the headline to access the link.

AUSD has experienced a steady decline in student enrollment over the past few decades. Changes to enrollment can be challenging, but they also provide an opportunity to thoughtfully consider the future of the district and how we can continue providing strong educational experiences for students. It's that time again! Support AHS, save money and buy your ASB Card! It is only $40.00 - and you will receive free admission to home football games and basketball games! In addition, discounts will be given on Moor gear merchandise and other restaurants!

Like many school districts throughout the State, AUSD is experiencing declining enrollment. This has significant implications for our schools and the district as a whole. AUSD formed an Enrollment Impact Committee (or EIC) to study this issue. We are inviting the community to be part of the conversation. If you lost a sweat shirt, water bottle, binder, keys or any other item, please stop by the lost and found area in the Student Support Services office in C122. A slew of clothes and water bottles have been returned. Items will be donated at the end of each semester.

Thank you to all who visited our campus and also to those who helped make the Back-to-School Nite a success! We hope that you enjoyed yourself and were able to visit as many classrooms as possible. It was great to see everyone!

If your school laptop needs help, please note the hours of the newly revamped Tech Office in D104: one hour before school everyday; Advisory and Homeroom on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and after school only on Monday and Friday. The Tech Office will be closed at all other times.
