Can you believe it is fall already? It still feels like summer! This week, October 5 - 9, it is regular schedule with Advisory periods on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - student choice. Then on Friday, there will be Collab Schedule with school ending at 2:38 pm.

Join in on the festivities and welcome in Homecoming Spirit Week! Each day has a theme and will culminate with the dance! Wednesday is twin day! Dress up with someone else. The AHS Korean Exchange Program deadline has been extended for one week! Spend Spring Break (March 26 - April 4, 2027) in South Korea with a host family, experience a different culture and learn so much! See Mr. Jayson Pineda for further details.

The Homecoming Dance is coming up on Saturday, October 10th! Purchase your ticket at the Student Bank asap! Ticket prices are as follows: $22.00 with ASB Card and $25.00 without. The night will prove to be fun for all!

Seniors should have either purchased or rented their cap and gown already. The purchase price is $26.55 with 10.5% Tax. After March 30th, seniors may purchase a set online $33.15 (the late price). If you intend to PURCHASE a cap and gown, the cost will be $26.55 including tax. Students will receive the cap, gown and tassel to keep. Just click on the headline to access the link.

The Alhambra Latino Association invites everyone to Noche De Loteria, an fun-filled night on Friday, October 9, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm! The gala will be held at the Alhambra Masonic Lodge on 9 Woodward Avenue in Alhambra. It will be a wonderful gathering for all!

If you have not heard already, the Homecoming Dance has been moved to Saturday, October 9th, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. A Night in Rio with lights under the stars will be a great time for all!

The AHS Thespians will be hosting the annual Haunted House - with this year's event titled "Caged." It will be held on Friday, October 9th, from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm. AUSD has experienced a steady decline in student enrollment over the past few decades. Changes to enrollment can be challenging, but they also provide an opportunity to thoughtfully consider the future of the district and how we can continue providing strong educational experiences for students. It's that time again! Support AHS, save money and buy your ASB Card! It is only $40.00 - and you will receive free admission to home football games and basketball games! In addition, discounts will be given on Moor gear merchandise and other restaurants!

Like many school districts throughout the State, AUSD is experiencing declining enrollment. This has significant implications for our schools and the district as a whole. AUSD formed an Enrollment Impact Committee (or EIC) to study this issue. We are inviting the community to be part of the conversation. If you lost a sweat shirt, water bottle, binder, keys or any other item, please stop by the lost and found area in the Student Support Services office in C122. A slew of clothes and water bottles have been returned. Items will be donated at the end of each semester.
