AHS will recognize and observe Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 19th, with a school holiday!

After the holiday on Monday, we will start with Advisory Homeroom on Tuesday. This will continue Wednesday and Thursday. No Collab on Friday.

Contracts for Grad Nite at California Adventures are now available in the Student Support Services office. In order to attend Grad Nite, you must have a permission/emergency form. Forms are due back in the SSS office on January 30th.

The annual AP/Honors Night will be held on Thursday, January 22nd! Students and parents will be able to hear everything 'from the horses' mouth' (students actually taking the course now) and their teachers. If you have not done so, try taking an Honors or AP course. After the initial debriefing, the D building will classrooms on the first floor will be open for visitations.

Pre-order your high school yearbook NOW! Prices are $85.00 with ASB card and $90.00 without ASB card. Go to the Student Bank and pre-order yours today. Only a limited quantity will be produced.

Alhambra Day Nursery Foundation is offering $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors that have shown an interest in early childhood through grade 12 education or related fields of study involving children and plan to pursue this education in college.

With the finale of the annual Reindeer Games held last Friday, the Special Ed. Department pulled ahead of the Counseling Office to become the champions fro the second year in a row! Congrats to all second placers, the Counseling Office, and third placers, the English Department. Congrats to all who participated! And a major thank you to Ms. Patti Garcia, Victor Frias and Amy Wu for organizing the games.

Congratulations to all the talented student woodworkers who represented AHS in the 13th Annual AUSD Woodworking Center. Patrick Oradan took first place and Ava Zeller won Honorable Mention. Congrats to all from AHS who participated including Ethan Deporto, Reily Encarnacion, Brinelly Franco, MD Hamza Khan, Rayhan Zeng, and Yuki Zhou !

Congrats to Coach Ryan and the Girls Golf Team for winning the Almont League for the first time in school history! We are so proud of you!
