***Alhambra Novelties is a new creative writing environment that welcomes all individuals, all ideas. To celebrate the success of our first semester, we are hosting aCreative Writing Workshop  in the Library on Thursday, January 15th from 3-4 pm.  Our writers will work with the Alhambra community with any text on character, tone, mood, setting, even adding more pizzaz into your work. If you want to have help on your narratives, your poetry, your screen plays, or simply want to come check us out—we’d love to see you there. And if you can’t come to the workshop, then come to our fun, interactive meetings…every Thursday from 3-4 in C124. Any students wanting to tryout for the track team, tryouts will be held Monday January 12th, Tuesday January 13th, and Wednesday January 14th  at the Track on 4th Street at 3 PM. All those trying out must have a valid physical exam form from a doctor on file with the school. Physical exams are valid for up to one year from the time of the exam. Anyone without a physical WILL NOT be permitted to tryout for the team. If you need a physical exam form, see Mr. DeSantis in the Athletic Director’s Office by the Gym.

If you have not ordered your graduation class ring you can order it today, Thursday, January 8th during lunch in the Auditorium Foyer. Bring a $60.00 dollar deposit, cash, check or credit card. To see all ring styles go to to:highschool.herffjones.com

Senior Best Nominations for the yearbook will be Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 in the quad and on 3rd Street at lunch. Final voting will be Friday 9. Anyone can vote, but only seniors can be nominated. Must have your ID to vote.
