Boys soccer: All physical forms are due on Wednesday, October 22nd by
3pm. Turn in your form to Coach Bravo in room A21. No completed
physical, no tryout. Tryouts will be at Moor Field October 27-28 from
3:15-5pm.

HOMECOMING GAME 2014:
The Homecoming game is on 10/31 at Moor Field at 7 pm! Preshow performances starts at 6:30. Come find out who the Homecoming king and queen are, see performances by all AHS dance teams, band, choir, and watch our Moors face the Schurr Spartans!
PARADE: ASB is excited to announce AHS’s first annual Homecoming parade! On the day of the Homecoming game 10/31, come join us on 4th Street at 4pm as we parade to Moor Field! The parade will include the Mighty Moor Marching Band, AHS clubs, the 2014 Homecoming Grand Marshall and Court, and the Alhambra City Council!
HOMECOMING DANCE 2014:
ASB proudly presents Homecoming 2014 “Nightmare in Wonderland!” The dance will be on November 1st from 7pm-11pm at the Quad and feature Thespians’s annual Haunted House! Dance contracts can be picked up from classrooms or in the Business & Activities office. Once filled out, they must be turned into Student Services to be approved. You can pick them up the day after and take the contract to the student bank to purchase your ticket!
COLORS: red, white, and black

10/6-10/10: Take advantage of the early bird special! $13 w/ ASB, 15 w/o ASB
10/13-10/31: $15 w/ ASB, $17 w/o ASB

Voting for Homecoming Court is between 10/13-10/16.

All nomination/voting stations will be at the Quad and 3rd Street during lunch!

“Haunted House Tickets are now on sale!  $5 General Admission, and $4 with ASB.  You can buy them from any Thespian Member, or the Student Bank!  The Haunted House starts at the Little Theatre and will be open 10/29 & 10/30 from 6-8, 10/31 from 3-4, and during the homecoming dance!”

Mighty Moor Marching Band will be pre selling items from their Cherrydale catalogs this week until 10/16.

TESTING:

Juniors and Seniors who need to make up the CAHSEE  please find your name on the CAHSEE List posted in Guidance Office and Student Services Office.

CAHSEE  for 11th and 12th Grade Students will be administered October 7th and 8that 7:45 a.m. List will be posted in Guidance Office later this week.

Library News -  The library will be closed on Tuesday, October 7th and Wednesday, October 8th for the CAHSEE exams.

 

SAT NEWS: There are currently 8 DAYS left to register for the NOVEMBER 8 SAT test date. The deadline to register is October 9. Seniors if you need help paying for the SAT, visit your counselor to see if you qualify for a fee waiver (juniors visit your counselor during the Spring/second semester).
