Work Permits

Work Permits are issued to the employer.
Applications can be picked up in the Career Center.
Student must complete application

  1. Part I, Student info
  2. Part II Employer’s info
  3. Part II Parent Signature

    4. Return with
    1) Original Social Security Card.
    2) Proof of Birth, School ID is preferred, Birth Certificate, Driver’s License or California ID.

    Hours allowed to work;
    14 & 15 year olds: 3 hrs. per school day, 8 hrs. non-school day. Maximum 18 hrs. a week. Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. only.
    16 & 17 year olds 4 hrs. per school day, 8 hrs. non-school day. Maximum 24 hrs. a week. Between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. only
    16 & 17 can work more hours if they attend a related ROP CVE class.
