Registration Season 2019-2020/Ready for 2019-2020?
Registration season is upon us again!  Students should review their "Graduation Progress" and "A-G Progress," especially taking note of any Fs or Ds that need to be repeated. Students should also prepare/update their "4 Year Plan" and have a conversation with their families about their course of study.  There are links to career exploration (Career Cruising, California Colleges), the district's Course Catalog (for course descriptions) and the UC/CSU A-G Approved Course List which are valuable resources students can use to assist them in planning. Some questions to consider:  What courses are students planning to take? Why? What requirements do the courses fulfill? What (if any) courses do students need to repeat? How will these courses and grades impact students' post-secondary goals? When students are brought to the Big Gym for the Course Selection Fair on 1/23/19, they can also find out more information on the many course and program offerings available to them. If students are interested in taking any AP/Honors courses, they need to attend the mandatory AP/Honors Night on 2/7/19 @ 5:30pm with their parents/guardians as an AP/Hon Contract will be required for 2019-2020. Counselors will be coming to classrooms in January and February to review the registration process with students, as well.
Students will be able to select their courses in Powerschool during Jan. 22-Feb 15, 2019.  After that, the window will be closed. Students can finalize their course selections during the Individual Course Selection Review with counselors (late February to the beginning of April via certain teachers' classes). We also expect to have more information on Summer School by this time.To review student's current Grades, Attendance and progress towards meeting Graduation and A-G College Entrance Requirements, please log on to PowerSchool  https://family.ausd.us

We also expect to have more information on Summer School by this time.

To review student's current Grades, Attendance and progress towards meeting Graduation and A-G College Entrance Requirements, please log on to PowerSchool:  https://family.ausd.us
