FREE Parent Education Academy AUSD is excited to announce Alhambra High School's 2nd Annual PARENT EDUCATION ACADEMY, in conjunction with Asian Youth Center (AYC). This program will be held at AHS' Dream Center but is OPEN TO ANY AUSD PARENT! Classes will begin the week of September 21st and will continue through December. The exact day of the week is still TBD (probably Wednesday or Thursday), but the times will be 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Translations (in Chinese, Spanish, and Vietnamese), childcare, and dinner are all provided. Rain Update - February 4, 2024 Throughout the weekend, we have been in contact with authorities from the cities we serve, as well as the Los Angeles County Office of Education, and are expecting ALL SCHOOLS TO OPEN as scheduled on Monday.All sites will be inspected early tomorrow morning and principals will notify families if there are any impacts to arrival routes or school entries. AUSD Student Board Member to Take Oath of Office At the next Board of Education Meeting on Tuesday, August 8th, we will welcome our first-ever Student Board of Education Member. We are honored to have Assemblymember MikeFong administer the Oath of Office to AUSD Student Board Member Justin Wang (AHS senior) and Alternate Kaitlyn Cao (MKHS senior). The ceremony will take place at the beginning of the public portion of the Board Meeting, which will begin at 6:00pm.

Hazel HEART Telehealth Mental Health Services is now available. Alhambra Unified School District is excited to announce our partnership with Hazel Health to provide HAZEL HEART telehealth mental health services for AUSD students. Telehealth mental health services are available AT HOME for any AUSD student. (At-school services are also available for students in our summer programs.)
