AUSD DISTRICT MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Alhambra Unified School District is to ensure the educational success of all students by having a comprehensive educational program where students can learn and become productive members of a diverse society.

Student Achievement

Continue implementation and support of best instructional practices in order to increase the number of proficient students in each significant subgroup as measured by AYP.

Finance

Support student achievement by aligning resources with student needs while maintaining at least a three percent reserve for economic uncertainty.

Safe, Healthy and Respectful Learning Environment

Support student achievement by promoting positive student behavior and a safe learning environment.

Staff and Community Relations

Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to uphold contracts, policies and laws while making decisions based on what is in the best interest of students.

Construction

Oversee the progress of all elementary and secondary building projects.
